This NZ native has long, broad, olive-green leaves with an orange midrib. Panicles of sweet scented flowers are produced from November to January. These arise beneath the leaf canopy.The flowers are then followed by masses of black berries. Requires damp soil and good drainage. Sun to part-shade. Hardy. Evergreen.
