• Garden care: Plant in a moist but well drained soil. Cut back any stems which are dying off.

Another wonderful South African reed, forming a clump of sturdy upright green foliage and dense bronze flowerheads surrounded by papery brown bracts. Useful for florist work.  Prefers full sun and good drainage. Evergreen. Hardy.
