A fantastic N.Z native producing a round headed tree with large, glossy, thick, leathery, variegated leaves 30-50cm long by 15-25cm wide. Has small green flowers followed by black fruits. Enjoys sun or semi-shaded position in humus-rich, moist but well drained soil
